How to register

Dear Candidate,

If you would like to register for one of the Cambridge English examinations there are two methods of registering.

1)       please send an email to  stating please which examination and exam session you would like to enter and you will be sent an email confirming availability together with an application form and details on how to pay. 

2)       Call into the Administration Office between 9am - 5pm at The English Academy, Thomas Darby House, 54 Parnell Square West, Dublin 1 

3)       Download the application form here (Individual Entry Form) and email it to

Entry fees are non-refundable unless official proof under medical (serious conditions only) or other grounds (immediate family bereavement) can be provided when a partial refund will be made.

Withdrawals requested before the closing date for examination entry will be subject to an administration fee of €45.

Withdrawals requested after the closing date for examination entry will not receive any refund of exam fee at all.

Exam Location

All Cambridge English exams take place at one of our City Centre venues:

Richmond Education Centre, 1 North Brunswick Street, Dublin 7

College House, 2-3 Townsend Street, Dublin 2 (The English Academy)

Thomas Darby House, 54 Parnell Square West, Dublin 1.


You must ensure that you are available on all the days relating to your examination.

You will receive confirmation of Entry two weeks before the examinations with the details of all papers (1 week before for computer based exams).

Proof of Identity

All candidates must bring their passport or EU national ID card with photograph, name and signature and all their timetable documents to every examination.

Detailed instructions including the examination rules and regulations and maps will be sent with your timetable.

Change of Address

Changes of address must be reported in writing immediately as timetables will be sent to the last address submitted.



Please be aware that a photograph will be taken of you at the speaking test for ID purposes and you will have to sign a consent form at time of enrolment. Photo’s are compulsory.

If you do not sign this form and allow your photograph to be taken you will not be able to take the examinations.

Your registration letter or email should be sent as soon as possible before the closing date for the exam.
